Variety of Texas is a charitable organization that opens up the world for kids with special needs and their families by providing resources and empowering experiences. Representing a globally federated brand, we are an independent nonprofit organization; funds raised here: stay here. We envision a Texas free from isolation and stigma. This year marks the 12th anniversary of the merger between Peaceable Kingdom and Variety - the Children's Charity of Texas and the 90th anniversary of Variety of Texas.

Now called Peaceable Kingdom by Variety (PK), our accessible retreat in Killeen, TX, is a beloved haven for thousands of children exploring their self-reliance and mobility each year. Because healing, growth and insight can be found in nature and outdoor adventure, we’ve tailored PK's gorgeous 122-acres to accommodate all campers’ and Central Texas students' needs. At PK, children make new friends, learn new things and make new memories they carry with them forever.
