The Variety of Texas Cinema Passport entitles the two cardholders to free movies for two for the calendar year at participating Texas theaters.

Thanks to the generosity of our friends in the cinema industry, the participating Texas theaters listed below, 100% of your Cinema Passport donation benefits Variety of Texas and its mission. We appreciate your support of this program!

Please note, the pass is NOT valid:

  • on holidays

  • for more than one movie at a time, one theater per day

  • for any movie commencing after 8pm on Friday or Saturday

  • for special screenings, including IMAX, IMAX 3D, Showbiz SDX, RealD, Cinemark XD, or other specialty formats

  • when distribution has a “no pass” policy for a film or when other restrictions apply

  • for all drive-in admissions, but at the purview of each theater

Be prepared to show your photo ID; the Cinema Passport is not transferable.

Mailing Information

At Variety of Texas, we want to ensure that we are partnering with theatres that maximize the experience for our Cinema Passport donors. Because of this quality assurance process, you may not receive your card before the winter holidays, as shipping will begin December 15th.

Cinema Passport is being shipped in bi-weekly batches this year to facilitate processing, but please contact us at cinemapassport@varietytexas.org if you intend to use your donation as a gift, and we will gladly send you a holiday card in its place.

❓QUESTION: Can a friend and I share a Cinema Passport card or account?

✅ ANSWER: YES! We will put BOTH of your names on the CARD itself, which is often shared between two people.

1) You (as the 1st named cardholder) and the secondary individual shown on the Cinema Passport card, could present it for two tickets together.

2) You could use the card to bring a separate guest altogether.

3) Or, your #2 named cardholder could head out to the movies with a guest.
