2025 - 2026 EVENTS: VOLUNTEERS WILL BE NEEDED
Save the Dates!

Save the date for potential volunteer opportunities throughout the year, including the events noted below.

  • Variety’s Day of Play - Fall 2025: Saturday, September 20, 2025

  • Camp Variety - Fall: Saturday, October 25 - Sunday, October 26, 2025

  • Al Webster Memorial Golf Tournament: Thursday, August 28, 2025 (Allen, TX)

  • Holiday Decorations at Peaceable Kingdom: Week of November 17th, 2025 (please contact us for scheduling; we are not open to the public and will coordinate times with you when we do not have students on site for programming)

  • Heart of Variety Ornament Drive: From November 17, 2025 - December 4, 2025 (can be completed virtually and delivered by 12/4/25)

  • 40 Years of Impact Event Set-up, Support, Breakdown, & Clean-Up: December 5, 6, and 8th, 2025

  • Variety’s Activate Inclusion Day: Dates TBA for January/February 2026

  • Variety’s Kites for Kids: Saturday, March 7, 2026 (Rain Date: 3/28/26)

  • Variety’s iCanShine Bike Camps: Dates in May, June, July 2026 TBA for locations in the Dallas and Austin areas

Assistant Program Facilitators
Do you want to work directly with children to support our weekday outdoor adaptive education programs? We request a long-term commitment of at least one semester. Apply today!

On-Call Doctor
Are you a medical doctor or nurse practitioner wanting to give back to the community from the comfort of your home? You can serve as an on-call doctor for summer camps and retreats.

Gardeners & Groundkeepers
We are always looking for help with groundskeeping and gardening assistance at Peaceable Kingdom. Every. Season. Whatever your ability or skill level, we have the project for you!   

Cleaning & Maintenance
From fresh coats of paint to building new shade structures to keeping golf carts in great shape, we appreciate your support.
