Variety, The Children’s Charity of Texas, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children with disabilities and complex medical needs by expanding access, inclusion, and opportunity. Through essential equipment, specialized services, and meaningful experiences, Variety works alongside families to help children participate fully in everyday life.

Who We Are

Founded as part of the national Variety movement, Variety of Texas serves children and families across the state by addressing gaps in care and access that traditional systems often leave behind. Our work centers on dignity, choice, and the belief that every child deserves the tools and support they need to thrive.

What We Do

Variety of Texas provides funding and resources for life-changing medical and adaptive equipment, therapeutic services, and inclusive experiences. From mobility devices and communication tools to programs that create joy and connection, our support is tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Why It Matters
